Incredible Science

Your kids will love watching live science demonstrations during this entertaining 30-minute program. Each session features hands-on experiments showcasing different scientific concepts—you might see physics and chemistry in action through displays about inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism, or learn surprising facts about nature, like what makes beaver teeth so tough or why bird eggs are so remarkably strong. Topics rotate, so there's always something new to discover. This is a casual walk-up program with no registration needed, making it easy to drop in whenever it fits your schedule. It's designed for children ages 7 and older, though younger siblings are welcome. Best of all, admission is completely free. You'll find the program at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center in downtown Raleigh.
