Incredible Science

Your kids can watch live science come to life during this 30-minute program featuring hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Each session focuses on different topics—you might see physics and chemistry in action through explorations of inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism, or dive into fascinating natural science like the surprising strength of bird eggs or the unique structure of beaver teeth. The program runs regularly throughout the week, so you can catch it whenever works best for your schedule. This walk-up program is designed for children ages 7 and up and requires no advance registration—just show up and enjoy. It's completely free, making it an easy addition to a trip downtown. The demonstrations take place at Windows on the World, located on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center, so families can explore the rest of the museum before or after the show.
